Dr. Frank Udemba Jacobs, President Manufacturer’s Association of Nigeria (MAN) re-iterated the organisation’s commitment to support the Manufacturing industry. This was made known at the recently held Manufacturer’s Association of Nigeria (MAN) Annual General Meeting, Abuja Chapter.
The event which had Alhaji Muhammadu Musa Bello, Honourable Minister of Federal Capital Territory, Guest Speaker, Dr Mrs Oduwole Olajumoke, Senior Special Adviser to the President on Industry, Trade and Investment in attendance; was done to positively engage heads of government, it’s agencies and parastatals on policies that have the potential to impact the manufacturing industry.
Dr. Frank, stated during the event that MAN will continually support the Nigeria Manufacturing and Equipment Expo which he believes to be a credible initiative by Clarion Events West Africa, to further encourage investment and promote sustainable development within the manufacturing industry.
The Nigeria Manufacturing and Equipment Expo featuring mPAD and collocated with the Nigeria Raw Material Expo is a 3-day annual event, an international end of line packaging and processing exhibition for the agro-food, beverage, textiles, pharmaceuticals, industrial and non -food manufacturing industry.
Still speaking at the event, Mr. Joseph Oru, Event Manager, Nigeria Manufacturing and Equipment (NME) Expo, expressed his gratitude on behalf of Clarion Events West Africa (CEWA) to the Manufacturer’s Association of Nigeria for their support in ensuring a successful hosting of the 3rd edition of the NME Expo.
According to him, CEWA will not relent in her effort to keep making relevant contribution to the industry; which was why he attended the Annual General Meeting as he believes that such gathering will further provide insights to issues in the industry to inform an all- inclusive Expo at the 2019 edition and also create an avenue to bridge the gap in terms Technological Know-How and improve best practices available around the world.
During the 2018 edition of the Nigeria Manufacturing and Equipment Expo (NME), the Vice President, Professor Yemi Osinbajo, who was represented by Dr. Mrs Oduwole Olajumoke also revealed that the current administration is currently working to ensure the elimination of bottlenecks that may hinder industrialization.
