Reacting to Davido’s move, the actress, who’s currently in the United States, took to her verified Instagram page to hail the singer, adding that his sins have been covered by his act of love.

Sharing Davido’s statement on his donation, Ifemeludike said, “This is it! Exactly how it’s done. Davido, this is a godly act and you will definitely see the hands of the almighty God, the creator of heaven and earth will move for you (he is already moving in your life) Thank you.

For the thousands of kids you have brought joy to, your sins are covered to a large extent. ‘Love covers a multitude of sins’ – 1 Peter 4:8.

“It is well with you. Please proper supervision of this mission is very very important here, maka ndi USA! (because of people in the US). Thanks for listening to the voice of reasoning. You’re blessed.”

On Wednesday, David asked his friends and fans to donate N1m each to him for his birthday.

Though he added that the goal was to get N100m, the singer received over N53m in cash transfers in less than one hour after asking colleagues for N1m.

Following the successful contribution, the singer has decided to give back to society and has also set up a committee to monitor the progress.
