Big Seg emerges NFF candidate for FIFA Presidency

According to report gathered by InfoTrust, former Nigeria international, Chief Segun Odegbami popular called Big Seg has been endorsed by the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF), as the country’s candidate at next year’s FIFA elections.

According to Complete Sports, Odegbami was given the go-ahead on Friday, to be Nigeria’s sole representative.

Former Abia Governor, Chief Orji Uzor Kalu, was also interested in the top job at the world football governing body, but now appears to be out of the running.

“I have only been hearing it, many people have been calling to ask but I have not been called officially from the FA but I hope it is true,” Odegbami said.

The election will hold on February 26 in Switzerland.
