Ambode to unveil plans for 2019 Access Bank Lagos City Marathon today

Lagos State Governor, Akinwunmi Ambode will today in his Alausa, Ikeja office meet with journalists to unfold plans for the 2019 Access Bank Lagos City Marathon.
According to Head of Communications and Media for the Access Bank Lagos City Marathon, Olukayode Thomas, the governor, as well as the other sponsors and partners, would be at the parley with the media practitioners.

Thomas also revealed that the Race Organizer and Chairman of Nilayo Sports Management Company, Bukola Olopade, and the race’s General Manager, Yussuf Alli will also unveil plans geared towards making the marathon one of the best road races in the world.

He said: “ “The media have been very resourceful and of immense help in the past editions of the Marathon Race, so it is only proper that we brief them accordingly to see our past achievements and also let them into our projections into the future.”

Some of the dignitaries expected at the parley fixed for 3.00 p.m. are Athletics Federation of Nigeria (AFN) President, Ibrahim Gusau and other members of the athletics family.
