The management, staff, students, and stakeholders of Tai Solarin Federal University of Education (TASFUED) gathered in celebration as the institution formally invested Professor Samuel Ekundayo Oladipo as the sixth substantive Vice-Chancellor of the University.
The colourful ceremony, attended by dignitaries from the academic community, government officials, traditional leaders, alumni, and well-wishers, marked another significant milestone in the history of the University. The event featured academic processions, goodwill messages, cultural displays, and the formal presentation of the insignia of office to the new Vice-Chancellor.
In his address, Professor Oladipo expressed appreciation for the confidence reposed in him and pledged to uphold the University’s vision of academic excellence, innovation, and institutional development. He also reaffirmed his commitment to strengthening research, staff welfare, students’ development, and community engagement.
