Arsenal began the Freddie Ljungberg era with a 2-2 draw against Norwich City at Carrow Road.
Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang was the Gunners savour on Sunday afternoon, scoring twice to cancel out goals from Teemu Pukki and Todd Cantwell.
It was the Canaries who took the lead and although Arsenal changed their manager this week, it was the same old story at the back.
Centre-back pairing David Luiz and Shkodran Mustafi were caught out by Pukki, who’s shot deflected off the German and into the net after 21 minutes.
But the Gunners hit back instantly through Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, who converted a controversial penalty just minutes after Norwich took the lead.
The striker actually saw his first spot-kick saved by Tim Krul, but VAR ordered a re-take due to a number of players encroaching into the box.
Aubameyang made no mistake with his second effort, beating Krul confidently to level the score.
The hosts were back in front moments before half-time, when Cantwell curled a brilliant finish past Bernd Leno after the Gunners were hit on the break.
But Aubameyang scored again before the hour mark, drilling his effort into the top corner after the ball fell to him on the edge of the six-yard box.

Norwich responded brilliantly and went close on a couple of occasions. Aubameyang was on fire up top, but Leno also made a number of big saves to keep the score level.
The Gunners pushed for a winning goal in the last 10 minutes but failed to come up with a moment of magic.
Although they didn’t take all three points, there were a number of positives for Arsenal on Sunday.
Ljungberg’s side also dominated possession throughout the match but just lacked the quality to take all three points.
Defensive problems need to be sorted out too, but the new era begins with a draw.
