Ayade Govt Orders Arrest Of Suspected Cultists In Secondary School In Cross River

The Special Adviser to Governor Ben Ayade of Cross River State on Education, Castro Ezama has ordered the arrest of student suspected to be a cultist in Government Secondary School State Housing in Calabar, Cross River State.

The suspected student, DAILY POST gathered who alleged to have attempted to stab another student of the school during cult operation.

Sadly, the suspected student narrowly escaped being killed by his colleague was also a suspected cultist, though the name of the cult group they belonged was not made known.

The Special Adviser, it was gathered was in the school at the time of the incident and requested that the suspect be handed over to the anti-cultism unit of the Nigeria Police for further investigation and possible prosecution.

He stated that the administration led by Governor Ben Ayade will not tolerate any form of Cultism and anti-social behaviours in the state school system.

Addressing members of Parent Teachers Association after the incident, the SA advised parents to do more in grooming their wards. He further enjoined them to compliment the role of Government in rendering support to the school where needed.
