As part of measure to suppress the economic problem and increasing rate of unemployment in the country, chairman, Senate committee on ICT and Cybercrime, Senator Abdulfatai Buhari has advocated for a review of the existing policies on youth empowerment to accommodate effective and pragmatic entrepreneurial education.
According to him this should be considered by universities and after schools (NYSC) as a critical enabler for creating employment, raising life expectancy level which has consequential impacts on national socio economic development.
Senator Buhari delivering a paper at the annual convention of Ogbomoso Sons and Daughters in North America ( OSDNA) held in Dallas Texas said Capacity building in term of skill and attitude, ability to set and pursue goals and good management practices are essential requirements for entrepreneurial success as such the government and private sector should accord much priority.

In the paper entitled Solving unemployment through entrepreneurship training in Ogbomoso said “Adequate financial, physical and human resources should be provided by government and various stakeholders not only for potentials but also for existing entrepreneurs”.
“Enough incentive for students of vocational and technical schools. This will motivate them to establish their business after school”.
The lawmaker who represents Oyo North Senatorial district at the National Assembly also harps on the need for Legislation of law that support thriving of entrepreneurship training in Nigeria by the National Assembly as well as involvement of Stakeholders and private organisation in complementing government’s effort in improving entrepreneurship training in Nigeria communities.
