..Alleges that some drivers earns more than the Oba that he is employed to drive
A royal rumble among Grade “A” “B” and “C” traditional rulers may be looming in Ondo State over an alleged attempt by some first class kings to make themselves superior to others.
This is as some monarchs who are mainly in categories “B” and “C” on Thursday warned the state government to desist from meddling in the matter of paramountcy among traditional rulers in the state.

No fewer than 130 traditional rulers kicked against the composition of the state Council of Obas describing it as lopsided and non representative.
Addressing newsmen in Akure under the auspices of “DE 130 Krowns Club of Ondo state,” the Obas mainly not in grade A said the council was marginalizing them.
The President of the club who is Aladeokun of Alade, Idanre, Oba Olusegun Akinbola lamented that only 22 Obas are members of the Council out of over 150 Obas in the state.
Oba Akinbola alleged that the state government was making some Obas more comfortable than others describing such action as Political.
“The sight of a traditional ruler hailing a taxi cab or begging for a lift when invited for official duties in the state capital does no good to the image of the government.
“Selective provision of exotic official vehicles to some is not a good thing to do.”
Lamenting that the state council of Obas is an “ arm of the state government, the President of the club said that their grievances have been pending for years unattended to.
On remuneration, the Obas, lamented that, “it’s is ironic that in some cases the driver earns more than the Oba that he is employed to drive.
They recommended that the state government should ensure that the spirit of the letter authoring the 5percent allocation be strictly followed . The 5 percent should be as at first charge.
