Coronavirus: Create Relief Fund To Help Curb Pandemic- Cleric Tells Kaduna Govt

The General Overseer, Christ Evangelical, and Life intervention Fellowship Ministry, Sabon Tasha, Kaduna state, Pastor Yohanna Buru, has called for the creation of an assistance and emergency relief fund in support of Covid-19 fight in Kaduna State.

He said with the fund; people could contribute, support and help the government succeed in the fight against the spread Coronavirus in the country.

Speaking in a telephone interview, Pastor Buru asked state governments to make the fund available for any citizen who wished to contribute for the overall benefit of all.

“The creation of an emergency relief fund will surely help the government in the fight against coronavirus spread in the country.

“Globally, thousands have been reported dead, and many have been infected with the disease while millions are suffering from the restriction of movement imposed all over the country.

“There is a need to support state and federal governments with prayers and fasting with the aims of begging the almighty God to bring an end to this epidemic.”

Buru called on Nigerian philanthropists to support state and federal governments toward combating the virus that is fast spreading among the citizens of the country.

He appealed to citizens to be law-abiding and respect social distancing rules to avert getting infected.

He observed that for the war against Coronavirus to be won, it must be a collective responsibility of everyone.
