EDF empowers 150 Ekiti residents, assure people of more goodies if Fayemi wins

Non Governmental Organization, Ekiti Development Front (EDF) has again empowered 150 more residents of Ikere Ekiti, and 5 other local governments.

The EDF assured Ekiti people of more goodies and dividends of democracy if the All Progressives Congress (APC) gubernatorial Candidate in Ekiti State, Dr Kayode Fayemi wins

Speaking at the distribution of the materials to the 90 beneficiaries during the programme held at Odo Oja in Ikere Ekiti yesterday, the convener of the NGO, Barr. Adeoye Aribasoye assured Ekiti people of more goodies and dividends of democracy more than Youth in Commercial Agriculture Development (YCAD), the Youth Volunteer Scheme, payment of students’ public examination fees, free education will be restored by Fayemi government by the time he takes over power .

He listed other things to benefit from Fayemi government to include government programme and restoration Ekiti value system, (Owo arugbo,) social security for senior citizens among others.

Aribasose who criticised the Ayo Fayose government for rolling out employment form when election is about three weeks away described the present government as “deceptive and lack direction”

“Imagine a governor who thinks Ekiti people are idiot that he just decided to roll our employment form to deceive and cajole them with employment form when election is about three weeks away in a bid to lure them into voting for the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) candidate now.

“What has he been doing since four years ago that he just suddenly woke up and think Ekiti people will continue to key into his deceptive programmes. Ekiti people are wiser now and we cannot be deceived”. He added.

Aribasoye who said the gesture was aimed at giving succor to the residents in the areas of social amenities, education, economic empowerment, political enlightenment and defence of their human rights, explained that the EDF drew inspiration from the
Dr. Fayemi’s government, during his first tenure as Governor.

The EDF convener who described Fayemi as the only credible utternative that can bring the desired development that is needed in Ekiti urged the people to vote wisely on July 14, 2018 election for Fayemi the APC. Candidate.

Item given out include: Washing machines, sewing machines, for fashion designers, walking stick, and grinding machines.

Others were empowered with driers for hairdressers, compressors/engines for vulcanizers, spraying pump, generators, Day old chicks with feed among others with 90 families getting social intervention of food stuffs. with among others

Beneficiaries who were selected from Ekiti Southwest, Gboyin, Emure, Ise Orun, Ekiti West and Ikere Local government commended the initiator of the programme and promised to vote wisely for the “credible candidate, Fayemi” on election day.
