Alex Iwobi scored his first goal of the season against Chelsea in last Saturday’s clash at Stamford Bridge. The Blues looked to be cruising to victory when they found themselves 2-0 up inside 20 minutes thanks to strikes from Pedro and Alvaro Morata, but the Gunners hit back through Henrikh Mkhitaryan and Nigerian Alex Iwobi to make it 2-2 by the break. Yet Maurizio Sarri’s side showed their class late in the game when Eden Hazard teed up Marcos Alonso to net an 81st-minute goal and secure a 3-2 win.

Iwobi’s goal at the match is coming on the heels of the recent announcement of his role in an upcoming Nollywood movie, INPADISU.  While some fans of the footballer were excited for his new career move, others were concerned that Iwobi’s involvement in the movie would affect his performance on the pitch. Iwobi has, however, shown his fans that they have nothing to worry about.

Although Arsenal lost the match, Iwobi’s goal was a major highlight of the match. It proved to his fans that he is in tip-top shape and cannot be slowed down. The official release date for his big screen debut is set to drop any day now.
