The Nigerian born fast rising Rapper and Afro Hip-Hop artist Falz has just been nominated for the “Best International Act: Africa” at the 2016 BET Awards; amidst the already grown (so to say) Nigerian artists that are already topping international chart already which includes Yemi Alade and Wizkid.
This actually implies that he’ll be battling with them to win the award. Although, Wizkid has once won this particular award in this same category, so maybe we can now say its Falz or Yemi Alade’s turn.
But also comparing Wizkid’s activities with top international artists, do we actually think either Yemi Alade or Falz is ready to beat that? Lets wait and see the results anyway.

Looking at Falz’s profile a little, he released his critically acclaimed sophomore album with the title “Stories That Touch” last year and has signature songs with “Solider” ft. Simi, “Marry Me”
ft. Yemi Alade, “Celebrity Girlfriend” ft. Reekado Banks and more. He also got an AMVCA (African Magic Viewers Choice Award) last year, so lets hope he’ll be adding a BET award to his shelf this year.
Fingers crossed but we hope a Nigeria wins in both categories.
