30-year-old Chioma has emerged the first lady of Imo state after Hope Uzodinma was sworn-in as Governor.

Chioma Uzodinma nee Ikeaka has become the first lady of Imo state following the swearing-in of her husband, Senator Hope Uzodinma as the governor of the state.

A law graduate from Imo State University, Chioma at 30 years of age is now the youngest first lady in the history of Nigeria.

Recall that senator Hope Uzodinma emerged as the surprise governor after the Supreme court sacked Emeka Ihedioha from the position.

Chioma Uzodinma is the governor’s wife from his second marriage in 2015.

The governor was formerly married to Augusta Uzodinma for 17 years and the marriage produced five children.

Chioma from Ideato local government area of Imo State and the incoming governor met by chance when she moved to Abuja years ago for her law school.

She was said to have been a close friend to someone who was in a relationship with the senator at that time, but the senator on sighting Chioma, decided to dump Chioma’s friend and went for her instead.

The couple have three children; a baby boy born in 2016 and a set of twin girl recently.
