The teams coming for the 2017 NWPL Super Four championship are Bayelsa Queens, Delta Queens, Nasarawa Amazons and title holders, Rivers Angels.

Speaking on the tournament, the Chairman of the Women’s League in Nigeria, Aisha Falode, said she has been so excited with the support of the Edo State governor, and promising that in future if given any challenge by the Edo government, she will always deliver.

“I must also thank the media for the tremendous support… we may not be able to reward them adequately but professionalism has been my calling and I think, that is what they are sticking to,” she said.
