A book titled, Grow! – a compilation of resounding and life-changing articles – written by Ngozi Adebiyi, the CEO and Lead Consultant of the boutique consulting and coaching firm–OutsideIn HR-has been launched of her slated in Lagos.

Referred to as “an amazingly insightful book” by Seyi Bickersteth, the book is a piece that reads both as an invitation and a guide at the same time. It speaks directly to people looking to make a difference, move mountains and become more impactful in their career, workplace and at entrepreneurial endeavours.

Organic Creame

Adebiyi’s passion and desire to see people, organisations and the society make positive shifts is evident in the words she carefully and accurately captures in the chapters of this book. In a succinct way, she sheds light on how to effectively grow regardless of the field you operate in. How she juxtaposes etiquettes, culture and character traits, illustrates the balance and wisdom she’s gathered from her rich and well decorated career as an HR expert & consultant having worked with several leading firms such Arthur Andersen, Guinness, KPMG & Reckitt Benckiser.

Grow’s readership cuts across cadres and hierarchies and is set to refresh, realign and reenergise all that engage with it.

Bickersteth, a former Chairman of KPMG Africa, who wrote the foreword had this to say about Grow! – “I spent 38 years of my working career at Andersen and KPMG. During this period, I was Chief Executive of those firms for 20 years. In retrospect, my leadership at these two outstanding firms would have been better enhanced if I had the benefit of reading Ngozi Adebiyi’s amazingly insightful book.

“Grow” contains practical advice for running an organisation, managing careers and succeeding in today’s complex and dynamic workplace.”

Temitope Fajingbesi- Balogun CEO of House of Ganiyah and prominent author- confirmed Grow| is the book for entrepreneurs, managers and employees who don’t want to fit in, but want to stand out. It is for purpose-driven leaders who have no desire to copy, but want to excel and shine as originals in today’s competitive world. It is inspiring, relevant, relatable and most importantly an essential tool for personal and business growth.

Jubril Saba, HR Director at a leading organisation, views Grow| as an invitation, the language and style in which it is written feels like an invite, one which is calling the recipient to ‘dare’ to be different in how they lead themselves first and foremost and then perhaps how they might lead others. What he took away, and hopes readers find in the gift that this writing offers is the reflective surface it offers. A sort of mirror through to consistently reflect back in the 500 plus words that make up each nugget.

Deji Ishmael, Managing Director, Afrissance Limited, affirmed that Grow| uses a range of options including real life events, movie references and book recommendations to bring home leadership development, self-management, talent management and development issues. This book is packed with highly nutritious nuggets in bite-sized chunks and now you’ll be able to read all of these stories in one place.

Grow! is available at leading bookstores in Lagos and on Amazon and Kindle. [email protected]
