The All Progressives Congress (APC) South East States Youth Leaders Forum has disclosed that it halt the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) age-long tradition of writing results by not compromising.
Chairman of the forum, Comrade Joshua Mamah who doubles as the state youth’s leader, Enugu state described such practice of imposition of candidates which can lead to a serious threat to the nation’s democracy.
Mamah also congratulated members of the forum for the role played during the elections and called on the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) to with immediate effect issue Certificate of Return without further delay to candidates declared the winner by the state’s INEC.
He said that INEC should be held responsible if there are any break law and order in the region, due to non-issuance of Certificate of Return to winners during the polls.

Mamah reiterated that APC leadership did not come to the aid of Enugu, Ebonyi and Anambra states during the polls.
‘’We also frown at the role played by Church leaders in the region, who abandoned the gospel of Christ and preaching against APC, in their respective churches rather than preaching the gospel of hate and discrimination and we condemn this.
‘’We also call on the enemies of the region to stop bad politicking played in the southeast, as such act has led to south east been used as a chessboard because of 2023,’’ he said.
He added that the crisis rocking the party in the region is from outside and want everyone involved to desist henceforth.
