I Wanted To Kill My Ex-Husband And Kill Myself Too – Afia Schwarzenegger Reveals

Controversial Ghanaian media personality, Afia Schwarzenegger has revealed she went through a depressing situation when her former husband Lawrence Abrokwa physically and verbally abused her.

Speaking on ‘Keeping It Real’ show with Joselyn Dumas, she detailed how her ordeal after she got married to Abrokwa affected her both emotionally and psychologically.

When all efforts to quit the fruitless marriage failed, Afia Schwarzenegger’s last option was to poison her ex-husband and poison herself as well.

“I wanted to kill that guy and kill myself. I told my mother and called his brother and told him if you people want to force us especially me into this suicide you call marriage then I will poison your brother to die and poison myself too.

“I’ll not go to jail for killing him and I won’t also kill myself for him to live to claim ownership of my properties. That is why frustrated I was.

“If I had not taken that bold decision of walking out of the marriage, I would have been dead,” Afia told Dumas

Afia and Mr Abrokwa got married at a private marriage ceremony in South Africa on Saturday, October 22, 2016, in a church at Florida Lake in Johannesburg.

However, Afia Schwarzenegger after years of battling with her ex-husband Lawrence Abrokwah in court has finally gotten her to wish as the court officially dissolved their marriage.

She was allowed to go ahead and finalize every divorce procedures.
