Crown Prince Ehenede Erediauwa
Benin Club’s Golf Section has been one of the busiest golf courses since the beginning of the year.
The club, which is rated as one of the best in the South South region has hosted some interesting kitties that attracted players from across the country.
And tomorrow, it will welcome five of the most prestigious clubs to its greens in celebration of two of its icons, Prince Aghatise Erediauwa and Mayer Ologbosere.

The clubs, Ikoyi Club, Lagos; Ibori Golf and Country Club, Asaba; Warri Golf Club, Ogunnu; University of Benin Teaching Hospital Golf Club; IBB Golf and Country Club, Abuja, will join the host club to contest for honours in the long awaited birthday tournament for Prince Erediauwa, who is celebrating his 60th birthday, and Ologbosere’s 50th anniversary.
The one-day birthday event is being organised by Golfing friends of Prince Aghatise Erediauwa and Mayer Ologbosere in conjunction with the club to honour and celebrate them for their contributions to the game in the club.
Yesterday, the Chairman, Organising Committee, Peace Anuna said no fewer than 120 golfers are expected to participate at the tournament, adding that all the necessary arrangement for the tournament has been formalized.
Anuna disclosed that the tournament would involve such categories as men and ladies, veterans and super veterans, guests and many others.
“Prince Aghatise Erediauwa and Mayer Ologbosere birthday golf tournament is to honour and celebrate them respectively. They have contributed in one way and the other for golf in the club and beyond.
