A police officer attached to the Federal Anti-Robbery Squad (F/SARS) Lagos Command, Mr Aduroja Akinola Olurotimi has been recognized for his gallantry efforts in combating criminal activities in the state.
Olurotimi, a Deputy Superintendent, who was honoured an award of excellence by Hevept Media International, specifically dedicated the award to the Inspector General of Police, Mr Ibrahim Idris for his for his supports in providing adequate tools to fight crime in all parts of the country.
According to him, “the IGP since assumption of office has had zero tolerance for crime hence promised to tackle it head-on. Since then, safety of lives and property in many parts of the country has come to stay through his efforts.”

He also acknowledged the Lagos State Commissioner of Police, Mr. Edgal Imohimi for his efforts in bringing criminal activities to barest minimal in the state, adding that the city has been peaceful since he took charge from the former commissioner, Fatai Owoseni.
“The state is emulated on security of lives and properties,” he said.
Olurotimi also commended the Officer in Charge of Federal Special Anti-Robbery Squad (F/SARS) Lagos State, Mr Sanni Mohammed for “the power and privilege he has offered to the men of FSARS to carry out their tasks effectively”.
Olurotimi further appreciated his team for standing by him in tackling the menace, while also thanking the media for supporting the operatives to disseminate their activities.
He dedicated the award to the Inspector General of Police Ibrahim Idris, the head of F/SARS, CSP Sanni Mohammed and the Lagos Commissioner of Police Edgal Imohimi for their support in ensuring that crime is largely contained in the state and across the country.
