Kudos to the emergence of fresh talents and A-list artiste churning out good music.
This days, aside music, the trendy thing is the ‘Baby Mama and Baby Papa’ razzmatazz which
has seen artiste nurture kids out of wedlock. SOFOWORA OLADAPO appraises the list of artiste who are ‘Baby Daddies’ in the music industry.

Davido

David Adeleke, fondly called Davido ‘The Baddest’ is one of the recent daddy, aside from music, he is in love with his current status of being a father to his beautiful daughter. Flaunting her on social media,and even showering her with gifts and soothing words.He recently
flew his daughter out of the country on a first class flight for holidays. When the alleged saga of the pregnancy with Sophie Momodu erupted on media,He allegedly denied responsibility for the pregnancy, and kept it away from the media. However, the striking resemblance of
Imade, the lovely baby girl, affirms that Davido is the true father of the beautiful girl.

The Omo Baba Olowo as he is fondly called, the father is a multi-millionaire business magnate, hails from Ede in Osun state and his uncle, Senator Isiaka Adeleke, a senator representing Osun West. Davido whose sophomore album is on the lookout,was postponed due to some reasons best known to him. He recently acquired an automobile to strengthen his garage in celebration of his hard work. Davido dropped a song titled ‘The Money’ in collaboration with Olamide ‘Baddo’. Davido is also a graduate from Babcock University Ilishan Remo, Ogun State where he bagged a degree in music. Wizkid Born in the suburb part of Lagos-Surulere, he is a proud ambassador of Ayodeji Balogun, used to be addressed as ‘Lil Prince’ but changed his name to Wizkid. An entertainer per excellence whom his creativity is unmatched in the industry. He has represented Nigeria on the world’s biggest stage which has earned him a feature by Drake on the remix of his track ‘Ojuelegba’. Wizkid is an household name that has put Nigeria music on the world map. He breaks into the music scene through EME, later floated his own record label ‘STAR BOY’ the label houses LAX.

Wizzy has been waxing strong globetrotting for concerts and shows. Wizkid is a proud fatherof a charming young boy named Boluwatife, from baby mama, Oluwanishola Ogudugu. On this year’s father’s day, he took to his Instagram page to congratulate himself as a proud father.

Wizkid who ported from being an MTN ambassador to  GLO Ambassador is currently enjoying success and the joys of fatherhood.

Mayd

Following his break into the industry, with the duo of P-Square after dropping his singles, proceeded on tour to the US with P-Square.
Awodumila AkinMayokun, known as May D, was fired by his former label Square records for someirreconcilable differences, between the label and the act. He proceeded to float his own label ‘Confam Records’ and signed fast rising artiste Mo’blow. May D sometimes in 2013, was
accused of battering his baby mama, Adebola Olowoporoku which the act debunked. May D has a cute son from the affair. He flaunts his son Olamipoju regularly on social media. The artiste whose buzz is currently going down is also a proud father.

Dprince

The ever dogged singer whose career has blossom with the help of his brother and super producer Don Jazzy.
Dprince, whose first single got bad comments, but despite the comments, he did not relent until he got it
right and got endorsement deal with MTN. D Prince is a performing artiste and a proud father having a baby with girlfriend Sharon Okparaocha with son Prince Uriel.

Dprince took the pregnancy away from the media not
until his girlfriend put to bed. Dprince whose record label is planning a Mega concert partnered by AccessBankis set to dazzle their teeming fans with his other label mate this December.

Ojosipe Wande Oluwatobi aka Wande Coal as he is addressed is indeed one of the raw talents to have sprout out of Nigeria. His vocal dexterity and his ability to bounce on any beat and do justices to it is incredible.

The former Mo’hit and Mavin record front man who now floats his own label ‘Black Diamond’is indeed in the leagues of proud fathers. The artiste who is shattering the music scene with
his just released long awaited sophomore album ‘WANTED’ is doing well in the country and
still the focal point of discussion.Fans alleged that the release of his album forced Davidoto extend the release date of his album. The artiste kept it away from media for years but
later unveiled his six year old son.

The boys striking resemblance in complexion combined with facial likeness shows that truly Wande is the true father of his son.

Olamide

Olamide Adedeji,born and raised in the suburb part of Lagos in Bariga,hails from Ogun state.His journey to stardom was indeed a fairy tale as he struggled to become what he is today
after meeting ID Cabasa of Coded Tunes, where he released his debut album ‘Rapshodi’, the
album went viral and took over the airwaves. There were allegations that if Dagrin had not
died, Olamide would not have been who he is today. Baddo, the young hardworking and ever
dogged rapper proved critics wrong, that he is a king on his own lane, and the sky is wide
enough for everybody to soar high. He left Coded Tunes to float his own movement YBNL, where he released 2 album that is selling like fire on a dry leaf. He housed singer Lil kesh and Viktor into the movement. Olamide, is one of the rarest artiste Nigeria has ever produced and he has given upcoming artiste platform to showcase themselves.

Olamide, Daddy Maximilliano, is a proud father of a cute boy. A popular blogger broke the story of the pregnancy saga of Olamide and his girlfriend Oluwabukunmi but the rapper took
to twitter to tongue-lash the blogger for breaking such story and accused her of notposting his songs or video but rather breaking negative stories. Few months later, Bukunmi put to bed. Former Governor of Lagos state, now Minister of Power, Works and Housing, Babatunde Fashola was in attendance at the child naming and was graced by few friends. He flaunted the boy on social media and showered accolade on him.

The Indigenous rapper, whom has experimented with everything he has at his disposal, has since scooped himself several endorsement deals with Guinness, Etisalat, Surebet amidst all. Heis indeed a proud father and a dedicated family man whose passion for his career in unrivaled.

Flavour
Popular singer from the East Chinedu Okoli aka Flavour is one of the few artiste to have
thrived from the East while not forgetting to globalize his own brand of music. The Ada Ada crooner is a brand ambassador to different brands.He is one of the few voice you will hear
from the Eastern part of Nigeria as he is regarded as ‘The king of the East’. Flavor has two
baby mama’s one from Sandra Okagbue and Anna Banner, a girl. The artiste had issues as the
two baby mama’s took to social media to express their displeasure. Sandra posted a picture

Kehinde Oyebanjo, popularly known as Kswitch is the junior brother to ace entertainer and businessman Dbanj. Kswitch’s career got a boost when he featured on Dr Sids ‘Over the Moon’ before he and his elder brother left Mo’hits record to float DB records where he released his tracks like Sister Caro’. The success story of Patrick Nnaemeka Okorie aka Patoranking, is indeed enough to say anybody can make it, a title of his latest song. Timaya

Enetemi Alfred, known as Timaya ‘Egberi papa 1 of Bayelsa’, is a gifted song writer and dance hall artiste. The CEO of Dem Mama Records, is indeed one of the best raw talents in Nigeria. Born in Port Harcourt, but hails from a riverine community in Bayelsa state Nigeria.

 According to reports,Timaya’s debut album sold millions of copies even though he only collected five hundred thousand naira from the marketer, which he spent on power bike and other things. He revealed that his road to success was hard, as he sold plantain to fend for himself while in Port Harcourt. Timaya, earned himself the acclaimed ‘Egberi papa 1 of Bayelsa’, when he publicized the menace that was caused by some forces on his small community. He thrived in the industry as he released his sophomore album and ever since he has been relevant, getting featured by several artiste in the industry. Timaya in 2012, his girlfriend Babara gave him beautiful baby girl.
