The presidential candidate of the Young Progressives Party (YPP) and former deputy governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN), Kingsley Moghalu has rated Nigeria’s President Muhammadu Buhari administration a ‘complete failure.’

“He is a complete and utter failure in government,” Moghalu said on Channels TV’s Rubbin’ Minds on Sunday.

“Nigeria is broken as a result of his lack of leadership… I rate this current government as F.”

“He promised three big things when he was coming into office in 2015: security, he promised that corruption will go down, he promised that the economy will get better. None of these three things has happened; instead, all three have gotten worse,” he added.

The presidential candidate insisted that the country has not improved under the current administration, noting that the increase in the rate of unemployment was bad enough.

Moghalu said if elected as president, he would run Nigeria like a cooperate organizations, where qualified people are appointed without priority given to zonal selection.

He said YPP wants an egalitarian society, unlike People’s Democratic Party’s “capitalist economy where the rich are getting richer and the poor are getting poorer while APC only recycles poverty.”

The former central bank deputy governor said to end poverty, he will set up a 1 trillion naira venture capital fund which will enable any young persons that want to set up a business to easily access capital without high-interest rate or collateral.
