It is not every day one person will appear four times on Twitter trend at the same time. But when that person is a famed politician that was credited for designing the grand scheme that ousted a sitting government in Nigeria, maybe that is not an unusual feat.

#BTCNextLevel, ‘Jagaban,’ ‘Ahmed Tinubu,’ and ‘Bola Tinubu’ all trended on Thursday afternoon as former Lagos State governor and a national leader of Nigeria’s ruling party All Progressives Congress celebrated his 67th birthday with a colloquium in Abuja.

Tinubu was a two-term governor in the state from 29 May 1999 to 29 May 2007

After Jagan left office in 2007, he maintained his relevance in the country by being influential not only at the state level but also federal level.

As per usual with topical issues, Nigerian Twitter has a lot to say about the King of Bourdillon.

Good wishes? Check. Praises? Yes. Criticism? Plenty.

Some Twitteratti praised  the APCV national leader for his influence  in 2015 when a merger of different parties produced the current ruling APC

Others condemn him and the present administration for its failure in keeping in terms with promises that channel their win in 2015.

Another Twitter user condemned the ruling APC but wished the national leader on his birthday.
