It is a creatively distinctive expression of oneself. On the 31st of March, 2019, Onyx by Valentina, a luxury female fashion brand, launched her new clothing collections – The Very Valentina, and The Jaclyn Johnson – at an exquisite event that took place at her new showroom in Lekki, Lagos.
Luxe fashion brand, Onyx by Valentina, unveiled 7 couture pieces of haute and super glamorous outfits, and 7 pieces of classy-casual pieces for the effortlessly classy chic!
Each piece made a statement, as they are uniquely hand-crafted with sequins, beads and stones. Onyx by Valentina has successfully carved a niche for herself in the Nigerian female fashion industry with her #AllHandMadeBeadWork.
The glitzy event also marked the launch of her Atelier – a beautiful workshop where each couture piece would be produced. The new showroom saw a host of renowned fashion influencers and fashion enthusiasts alike, as well as customers, friends and well-wishers.
Pinkberry Frozen Gourmet Yoghurt was also present to support the launch of the new collection, and provided yummy frozen yoghurt for all present.
Valentina Utoh, Creative Director of the brand, expressed her delight to finally be launching her Atelier, and her new collections. She said, “Bringing art to life through couture pieces has always been my dream. Onyx by Valentina pieces are especially hand-crafted using stones, beads and quality fabric to create detailed, iconic clothing for women whose STYLE is confidence. There is so much more we have in store, and we enjoin every woman in Nigeria and beyond to stay tuned.”
