Vice President of Nigeria, Professor Yemi Osinbajo and some governors including Rotimi Akeredolu of Ondo State, Babajide Sanwo-Olu of Lagos State, Dapo Abiodun of Ogun State, Kayode Fayemi of Ekiti and Atiku Bagudu of Kebbi State are currently in Ibadan, the Oyo State capital for the 70th birthday lecture of the immediate past Governor of Oyo State, Mr. Abiola Ajimobi.
The birthday lecture christened 2nd Abiola Ajimobi roundtable with the theme, ‘Managing the dynamics of Nigeria’s advancement: The socio-economic perspectives’.
Ajimobi who ruled the state between May 2011 and May 2019, clocked 70 today (Monday).

Also present at the lecture that took place at the International Conference centre, University of Ibadan are the Alaafin of Oyo, Oba Lamidi Adeyemi, Minister of Interior, Mr. Rauf Aregbesola, Wife of Vice President, Dolapo Osinbajo, former Governors of Ogun State, Senator Ibikunle Amosun, Olusegun Osoba, Mrs. Onikepo Akande and Mrs. Ibikun Awosika.
Others are Deputy Governor of Oyo State, Mr. Rauf Olaniyan, Speaker of Lagos State House of Assembly, Mr. Mudashiru Obasa, Professor Tunji Olaopa and General Alani Akinrinade (rtd).
The roundtable lecture had Ayo Olukotun a Professor at the Department of Political Science, Olabisi Onabanjo University as lead paper presenter.
The discussants at the roundtable lecture are former Chairperson of First Bank, Mrs. Ibukun Awosika, Chairman of Ibadan School of Government and Public Policy, Professor Tunji Olaopa, Director of BudgiT, Seun Onigbinde, a senior pastor of Covenant Christian Centre, Lagos, Poju Oyemade and Rauf Aregbesola.
