PFN, others urge southern Kaduna to vote out bad leaders

National secretary of Pentecostal Fellowship of Nigeria (PFN), Emmanuel Kure, has said the people of southern Kaduna have resolved to vote out selfish and nepotistic political leaders, for Kaduna State and Nigeria to move forward.

Leading thousands of Christians at an annual prayer for peaceful elections in the country, Kure said no stone would be left unturned to ease out leaders that subjected southern Kaduna to insecurity and hardship, for politicians that have the love of Nigerians at heart, with their bloc votes.

The cleric stated this during the 18th Southern Kaduna National Prayer Summit themed ‘Arise, It’s A New Day’, weekend, at the New Township Stadium, Kafanchan, Jema’a Council.

He said: “I want us to ask the present Kaduna State government what it has done for us in the past three years? It is time for you to open and check the records how much it developed us, what change it brought to our land? If it has brought us good, please go there and vote it back, but if it has not brought us any good, go there and vote it out.

“I want to ask us in southern Kaduna, has this government blessed us enough for us to vote them to come back? If not, what is the solution?

“We will vote for our future and our destiny together. Together, we will stand together and the gate of hell will not prevail over God’s people.

“I was asked by a governor who didn’t understand how southern Kaduna operates, I told him that among the minorities in the northern part of Nigeria, we’re the only ones, when it comes to voting physically, that do it together with all our hearts, and the whole world knows us for that.”
