DAY 1: Monday, November 5

10am: YOUNG THEATRE FEAST @Kongi’s Harvest Art Gallery Opening of Kinniso International Theatre Festival, KITF, an annual theatre festival for children and adult audiences. Troupes from Zimbabwe, Nigeria, Germany and Sweden.

5pm: BOOK TREK @British Council, Ikoyi featuring readings and conversations around the newest books on the Nigerian Shelf. Special feature: LABAF20:20:20

DAY 2: Tuesday, November 6

10am: YOUNG THEATRE FEAST @Kongi’s Harvest Art Gallery Kinniso International Theatre Festival, KITF continues

1pm: SEMINAR @Kongi’s Harvest Art Gallery Event: Screening & discussions around the film: LABAF@20, a Documentary, by CORA

2pm: CONVERSATIONS @Kongi’s Harvest Art Gallery Author’s Parliament: New ideas in Nigerian Literature (In association with Association of Nigerian Authors, ANA) Producers: Festac News Publishing & Culture Advocates Caucus, CAC)

3pm: ART SEMINAR @Kongi’s Harvest Art Gallery (In honour of Kolade Oshinowo @70) ART EDUCATION: What Mentorship Means for My Art:

Part 1: Conversation with/among three young artists: Taiye Idahor, Nengi Omuku and Olumide Onadipe. Moderator: Nneoma Ilogu, Manager, SMO Contemporary

Part 2: Oshinowo, distinguished Nigerian artist, has mentored several generations of Nigerian artists in his over 45 years of art practice to be interviewed by painter, arts writer, Mufu Onifade

Session followed by Performance of ‘Ogede n baje, a l’onpon,” by Yusuf Durodola

7pm: POETRY OF RENEWAL@Amphitheatre (Coordinated by AJ House of Poetry & Poets in Nigeria) (Produced in conjunction with ARTMOSPHERE)

DAY 3: Wednesday, November 7

9am: CYCC@LABAF @FP Lawn The CORA Creative Youth Club, CYCC – The Committee for Relevant Art, CORA accomplishes its “Extension Services”through School Outreach programmes featuring workshops/Mentoring/training of students in various disciplines of the arts .Usually started a month before the festival (in October), over 400 students usually benefit from the exercise.
