Embattled international singer, R. Kelly has been rearrested and this time it is for failing to meet up with child support payments.

It is gathered that the RnB music star will need to pay the full amount owed for him to be released. He is speculated to owe a total of N58,230,480 ($161 thousand).

According to multiple reports, he owes the money to his ex-wife, Drea Kelly. Ironically, Kelly’s arrest is coming on the heels of his ranting and sobbing to CBS about wanting a relationship with his kids.

Kelly could be charged criminally for failure to pay the support as any amount over N7,233,600 ($20k) is a felony.

In an update to his sexual abuse allegation, more evidence is reported to have surfaced against the entertainer. Chief James Craig of the Detroit PD confirmed to the celebrity gossip site, TMZ, that roughly a month ago they got information from Chicago PD about an alleged victim, “who made allegations of a criminal sexual conduct incident against R. Kelly.”

He states the incident potentially occurred in Detroit back in 2001 when the alleged victim was 13. They are currently working on following up with her and her attorney.

So far no word from Kelly’s attorney.

In the meanwhile check out videos of his arrest and arrival for the court hearing for the child support case.
