Rickey Tarfa, Falana & Falana, SOOB/NICCOM and B.A Law/Probitas are unrelenting in their quest to make the knock out stage of the on-going Bankole Olumide Aluko Football Championship, also known as Lawyers League, which enters its fifth week tomorrow at the AstroTurf2000, Ikoyi, Lagos.
Playing in Group A, Rickey Tarfa defeated Wiseview/Grey Chapel 3-0 last Sunday to remain on top of the group albeit on superior goals aggregate over Lagos State Ministry of Justice (LSMJ), which also has the same seven points.
Wiseview/Grey Chapel is third on the log, while ALP/SPA, which lost 1-2 to LSMJ is placed fourth. Aluko & Oyebode is fifth with just one point.
B.A Law/Probitas and Advocaat are the clear leaders in Group B with nine points from three matches each, while Babalakin, Aelex and Jackson Etti & Edu are on three and one point respectively. B.A Law/Probitas defeated Babalakin 4-2, while Advocaat beat Jackson Etti & Edu 1-0.

SOOB/NICCOM leads Group C on nine points to second-placed Olisa Agbakoba Legal’s (OAL) six, while Pinheiro, ACAS/UUBO, Bloomfield, DOA are third, fourth and fifth respectively with six, three and zero points.
Group D leader, Falana & Falana has nine points from three matches, while Banwo & Ighodalo is on seven points albeit after two matches, while Templars, Punuka and Tayo Oyetibo/B. Osipitan are third, fourth and fifth on four and one point respectively.
The competition continues tomorrow with Aluko & Oyebode meeting ALP/SPA, Aelex against BA Law/Probitas, Olisa Agbakoba tackling SOOB/NICCOM.
Templars will battle with Tayo Oyetibo/Bayo Osipitan, Rickey Tarfa will meet LSMJ, Jackson Etti & Edu will host Babalakin, while Pinheiro will be up against Bloomfield/DOA. The last game of the day is between Falana and Banwo & Ighodalo.
According to the organisers, the matches will start by 3.30 p.m., but teams are required to arrive the venue at least an hour before their games.

The Lawyers League is held in memory of the late lawyer, Bankole Olumide Aluko, a founding partner in the law firm of Aluko & Oyebode, who passed on 14 years ago.
