As part of the closing ceremony for a successful maiden tech/payment conference, Interswitch Connect, the organisers recently staged a special Connect Gala Night at the Landmark Event Centre, Lagos, with A-list celebrities, friends and partners of brand in attendance.

The colourful evening kicked off with a red carpet reception, followed by a cocktails session that featured great music from saxophonist, Phebean, as red carpet host, Uti Nwachukwu, engaged the audience with great conversation. The buffet-styled dinner was splendid with drinks in excess supply.

The event ended with brilliant performances from Guinness world record holder, Kaffy, great music from Timi Dakolo, rib-cracking jokes from comedian Bovi, breath-taking performance from the renowned Shuga band and of course with DJ Xclusive behind the turntable, eliciting lots of dancing and merriment.

At the Awards/Gala Night proper, Interswitch recognised 40 partners, who have performed excellently on a consistent basis, including Diamond Bank, GT Bank, Fidelity Bank, Airtel, Appmart, UBA, Mutual Benefits and others.

Also present at the event were Nollywood Actress, Rita Dominic, comedian Basketmouth, Ugandan comedian Salvado and others, who joined in the celebration.
