Seven MTN customers relish joy of watching Arsenal in London

Seven members of MTN’s Y’ello family joined other Arsenal fans at the Emirates Stadium in London to watch the Premier league clash between Arsenal and Manchester City.

These MTN customers, who are also ‘Gunners for life’ – Ademola Sulaiman, Asemota Ivie, Coker Olabisi, Orimoloye Olateju, Arthur Chuks, Chief Kingsley Chinedu and Aniekpeno Mkpanang, were recently introduced to the public at a ‘Meet and Greet’ session at the MTN headquarters in Ikoyi, Lagos.

Speaking on the exciting opportunity to watch his favourite team, Ademola Sulaiman, said: “I’ve been on cloud nine since I heard I’ll be going to London to watch my Arsenal play live! It has always been my dream and it’s even on my bucket list. MTN has now made the dream to reality and I’m beyond excited about it. I can’t thank MTN enough for this.”

These Arsenal fans embarked on an epic 4-day experience, which included a tour of the magnificent Emirates Stadium getting a feel of the perfect and lush green playing surface, visiting the popular Armoury housing the club’s merchandise and many opportunities.

The high point of the tour came on March 1st, when the seven Gunners joined teeming fans to watch Arsenal and Manchester City lock horns.

During the trip, the seven fans also visited other iconic locations in the historic city of London.

Commenting on the trip, MTN’s General Manager, Brands and Communication, Richard Iweanoge said: “We are delighted to be a part of our customers’ dream come true. This opportunity to watch their favourite team play live at the stadium is our way of giving them the total footballing experience they deserve and expressing our appreciation to them for choosing to be a part of our Y’ello family.”
