Seven Up renews Access Bank Lagos City Marathon with five-year contract

The Access Bank Lagos City Marathon has received another big boost, as Seven-Up Bottling Company signed a new five-year deal for the race.

The new development from the Soft Drinks giant was confirmed in a statement issued by Olukayode Thomas, Head of Communications and Media for the Lagos Marathon.

Bukola Olopade, the Project Manager for the Access Bank Lagos City Marathon said the decision by Seven-Up to stay on with the race was expected going by the success associated with the Lagos marathon race since its inception.

“This is another big one for us and we are quite grateful to Seven Up who have been very supportive since they came on board with us in 2017”

“For the Access Bank Lagos City Marathon, the difference is clear for all to see and that is why we are attracting the best brands in the country,” he

Olopade while confirming that their will be an official media parley next month to officially activate the fresh contact entered into with seven up also hinted that more deals will be unveiled in the weeks ahead.

Only recently, KIA Motors also singed a five-deal to become the new automobile partners for the Access Bank Lagos City Marathon.

The Access Bank Lagos City Marathon, which already has a Bronze label and is eyeing a Silver label, will enter its fourth year in 2019.
