EFF leader Julius Malema believes that Cyril Ramaphosa will never become the president of South Africa.
“Shem (shame) Cyril must just forget, he won’t be president,” he said during a press conference on Monday.
Malema told reporters that the next president of the ANC will be determined by its current leader.
“Jacob Zuma gets everything he wants in the African National Congress (ANC) and if he wants Nkosazana Dlamini-Zuma as the president, she will become the president”, he said.
“Nkosazana will be the president if Zuma wants her to be the president of the ANC. Anything Zuma wants he will get in the ANC. But Zuma is not sure about Nkosazana, that thing ‘South Africa is ready for a woman president is just rhetoric, he’s trying to sound smart. He must appear like he’s supporting a woman when we know his clear views on women because he’s a man that believes women must be married and have kids.”

Malema said that Dlamini-Zuma is not a legitimate candidate for the ANC presidency because she is ‘fronting’ for Zuma.
“Nkosazana is corrupt, how do you accept an award from the Guptas if you are not corrupt? How do you legitimize such an illegal institution that is stealing money from our government? If you are clean as a leader you can’t associate with such things. So if you doubted her, now you know where she stands.”
Malema said that he was waiting for a journalist to ask her view on the Gupta family and their businesses as well as the State Capture, saying that she will get in trouble whichever way she goes.
“Any answer she gives she’s in trouble I can tell you now, if she says Guptas have got a right to do business, the whites are against them because they are black, then you’ll know where she stands. When she says the Guptas are wrong, they are corrupt and therefore that State Capture must be investigated fully then the premier league will say ‘she’s going to arrest us this one’,” he said.
