As Coach Gernot Rohr and his crew continue preparations for the 2018 World Cup in Russia, the official ‘Food Partner’ of the Super Eagles, Big Bull Rice manufactured by WACOT in Kebbi State has reaffirmed its confidence in the team’s ability to excel at the Mundial.

Speaking on the team’s preparations ahead of the tournament, which kicks off on June 14 in Russia, Managing Director, WACOT Limited (a member of the TGI Group, which also includes CHI Limited, CORMART, CHI Farms & others), Mr. Ujwal Senapati said the company retains implicit trust in the Super Eagles exceling at the mundial.

He said, “The Nigerian Super Eagles are one of the youngest and most exciting national teams at this year’s World Cup. It is no secret that the team was the first to qualify in Africa and this is due to a good training regime backed with the Nigerian ‘can-do spirit’. Big Bull rice takes pride as the Super Eagles’ official Food Partner.”

Ujwal also added that for the forthcoming friendlies involving the Super Eagles, TGI Group will continue its sponsorship of the ‘Big Bull Rice Man of the Match’ award with a cash prize of N1 million and a donation of 10 bags of Big Bull rice to any charity of the winning player’s choice.
