Tenant Allegedly Stabs Landlord To Death Over Cleaning Of Compound In Ibadan

A tenant who resides at Agbon street in Iyana Church area of Ibadan has allegedly stabbed his landlord to death.

The tenant presumed to be a Hausa man from the northern part of the country stabbed his landlord following a misunderstanding between the duo, DAILY POST gathered.

Sources revealed on Tuesday that there was a misunderstanding between the tenant and his landlord over the cleaning of the compound.

It was gathered that the tenant stabbed his landlord to death over the argument on Tuesday.

Residents of the area said the alleged killer has so=ince absconded from the area to avoid being lynched as of the time of filing this report.

It was, however, gathered that security operatives have been deployed to the area to prevent a breakdown of law and order.

Efforts made by DAILY POST to get a reaction from the Public Relations Officer of the state Police Command, Adewale Osifeso proved abortive.

He has yet to respond to the SMS sent to him for a reaction on the matter.
