Buenos Aires is the capital of the Argentine Republic. The name means fair winds, or literally good airs in Spanish. It is one of the largest cities in Latin America, with a lot of cultural offerings, and is the point of departure for travelling to the rest of the country.

Inhabitants of Buenos Aires are called porteños, “people from the port”, implying that many of the inhabitants are immigrants in some ways or another. Buenos Aires is an open and interesting destination that allows visitors not only to view the city but also to have an exceptional urban adventure.

Buenos Aires constantly receives tourists from all over the world and offers a large choice of cultural events, nightlife, restaurants, and pubs. So, tourists can expect good services and a wide range of options.

Buenos Aires, like most of the Argentinian cities, has a humid subtropical climate with a significant influence from the Atlantic Ocean. However, the city has unpredictable weather year round and summers last from December to February.

Buenos Aires is in the midst of a tourism boom, on a monthly magazine called Travel + Leisure, travelers voted Buenos Aires the second most desirable city to visit after Florence, Italy.

Buenos Aires, regarded as the “Paris of South America”, offers elegant architecture, exquisite cuisine, a legendary nightlife, and fashionable shopping. Argentina has become famous for its rich European flavor.
The most popular tourist sites are found in the historic core of the city, in the Montserrat and San Telmo neighborhoods. Buenos Aires was conceived around the Plaza de Mayo, the colony’s administrative center. To the east of the square is the Casa Rosada, the official seat of the executive branch of the government of Argentina
