Top golfers set for Captain Hosa Okunbo at 60 pro-am tourney

Preparation for the long awaited Captain Hosa Okunbo at 60 Pro-Am invitational golf tournament scheduled for Benin Club has reached an advance stage.
The big bash money spinning golf tournament is being organised by Benin.

Club, Golf Section (BCGS) in honour of the strong supporter of the section, a philanthropist and patron of the Benin Club. It will hold from Monday to Saturday at the club where top golfers invited from various golf clubs across the country would vie for honours in the six-day events.

According to the chief host of the tournament, Engineer Kingsley Okunbo, invites have been sent to top and active golfers from several golf clubs across the country.

Okunbo revealed that part of the activities in the week-long event is a lecture series titled, ‘Youth migration: Present realities and its consequences’ at the University of Benin main auditorium, Ugbowo campus, adding that two eminent speakers, Professor Benson O. Osadolor, Dean of Students Affairs, University of Benin and Director

General of NAPTIP, Dame Julie Okah-Donli would deliver the lecture.

Okunbo, a former captain of the club, disclosed that the event would tee-off with the caddy category on Monday through Tuesday, while the professionals would take the centre stage from Wednesday to Saturday.
