Talented actress, Toyin Abraham has reacted to news making the round especially on social media that she has been appointed as the new brand ambassador for NCDC on COVID-19 after Funke Akindele was allegedly sacked for going against the social distancing campaign.
Toyin debunked the news describing it as rubbish and fallacious.
Information has it that sequel to the house party she hosted at her Amen Estate abode at Eleko Beach, Lekki Lagos on her husband’s birthday, which made her to be arrested and punished for disobeying the government’s lock down order to fight covid-19, Funke Akindele was rumoured to have been dumped by NCDC and Dettol as brand ambassadors.
However, Abraham was said to have immediately been employed to replace her.
Few minutes later, the Delta State born Yoruba actress came out to debunk the news through her media manager, Sam Olatunji.

According to her, “It has just been brought to my attention that blogs are reporting that I am now NCDC ambassador. Implying that I have been used to replace a colleague. That line of thought necessitate I put this out there.
“I am not an ambassador to NCDC. I do not like the narrative that I am trying to take advantage of a bad situation. Please I support the campaign against Covid-19, I appeared on a video campaign against the pandemic but please let’s not drag another person down. Thank you.”
