“It is the responsibility of every responsible and responsive government to accord the plights of its citizenry, especially the Civil servants a priority in order to encourage and motivate them in the course of their duties”.
The idea and new style of owing civil servants, months of salaries and allowances by some State governors across the Country is becoming unacceptable and uncouth, especially in the eye of the current skyrocketing prices of goods and services which has resulted in untold hardship on the
people.
It is an understatement or to say the least, that Nigerians are suffering in the midst of abundance now and for any state governor to, at the same time, look other way in pretense by not paying salaries and allowances of the workers, as and when due is nothing but wickedness and barbaric.
