The victims, believed to be men aged between 19 and 35, died after their car crashed into a barrier then plunged into the water.
Four members of a British band and their manager have been killed in a horrific car crash in Sweden, it’s been reported.
Indie group Viola Beach were said to be travelling over a bridge when their vehicle smashed through a barrier and dropped 80ft into a canal.
Divers pulled the bodies of the victims, all men aged between 19 and 35, from the Södertälje canal yesterday, local media reports.

The cause of the accident, that occurred on the E4 highway yesterday in Stockholm, is not yet known.
The bridge was closing at the time of the crash after it had been opened to let a boat sail through, reports media in Sweden.

A foreign office spokesperson said: “We can confirm that five British Nationals died in a car accident in Sweden on 13 February.
“We are in contact with local authorities and supporting the families at this difficult time.”
