Yomi Egbe wins Consolidated Hallmark Insurance 10th anniversary tourney

Esimaje Yomi Egbe has emerged the over all winner of the golf tournament put in place to celebrate the 10th anniversary of Consolidated Hallmark Insurance Plc.

At the event, which came to a thrilling end at the Ikeja Golf Club, Egbe, a former competition secretary at the club, netted a score of 67 defeating over 120 others to win the competition.

Speaking at the end of the event, Egbe described the victory as refreshing, saying it’s been long in coming.

“I am very happy to be walking away with this prestigious trophy,” he said.

Omini Ofem, playing off handicap 13, was runner while Goke Akinboro and Obafemi Ajala were third and fourth respectively.

Other winners in the keenly contested 18-holes competition are Lynda Obieze, winner in the ladies category, Akai Annieodiong, winner in the guest category, Uwamai; runner in the guest category, Chris Obije, Pastor Femi Faseru, Biyi Fetuga, Fred Apah, Falobi Balogun among others.

Satisfied by the outcome of the 10th anniversary golf tournament, the Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of the sponsoring outfit, Eddie Efekoha commended the participants for putting up a good show, while describing the past 10 years of the company’s existence as a fulfilling one made possible by contributions from its stakeholders, many of which are members of Ikeja golf club.

Efekoha, who thanked Ikeja Golf Club for providing the platform for the event, pledged the outfit’s commitment to its activities, saying, “we shall continue to partner with the club in several ways through programme sponsorship and asset management.”
