He disclosed that the Commission is working towards self sustenance and urged them to put all hands on deck to achieve this. In his word “the journey may be rough but there no finishing line”.

NCPC boss affirmed that any Tour Operator that breeches the agreement earlier signed with the Commission would face the consequences.
He urged Ground Handlers to treat pilgrims with respect, according to him, “you must tolerate the people that are given to you, be mindful of the words you use on them”.

He informed the Tour Operators that the commission is committed to due process in the procurement of their services and that is the only way the essence of the pilgrimage would be achieved, adding that the commission wants the best service and would not compromise standard. In his words, “we must show the way for others to follow “.

Earlier, the Chairman of the Nigerian Christian Pilgrim Commission, Most, Rev. Nicholas Okoh charged the chairmen, Secretaries and Ground Handlers to carry out their assignment with honesty and sincerity.
He advised that they should bear in mind that their primary duty is to please God not man.

The Chairman and Members of Board of NCPC, including Chairmen and Secretaries of the State Christian Pilgrim Welfare Boards are in Israel to ascertain the State of Readiness for the 2015 Christian Pilgrimage Exercise.
