26 dead from fresh bomb attack in Maiduguri

Not fewer than 26 persons have been killed in multiple female suicide bombing in Maiduguri this morning, a rescue worker has said.
Three female suicide bombers stormed Umarari Molai suburb of Maiduguri this morning at 5:30 am and detonated Improvised Explosive Devices simultaneously, killings 26 people and injuring many others.
According to SaharaReporters, rescue workers disclosed that at least 61 people have been killed between the attacks inside a Mosque in Molai last night and the early morning blast in Umarari Molai suburb of Maiduguri

An eyewitness said 26 people were killed including three female suicide bombers while several others were critically injured in the early morning blast at Umarari Molai, some three kilometres from Maiduguri the Borno state capital.

Last night a male suicide bomber killed worshipers inside a Mosque during prayer around 6: 21 pm in Molai, emergency rescue officials claimed that 16 persons died in the attack.

However, a source told SaharaReporters at the State Specialist Hospital Maiduguri said that at least 35 bodies were deposited in their morgue from the attack last night and that 29 people were injured.

It was gathered that the male suicide bomber had disguised himself as a visiting Islamic scholar before manoeuvring his way into Mosque and detonating explosives simultaneously with three other female suicide bombers who had stationed themselves in different locations within the Mosque
