Happy are those believers who hold the love of Allaah and His messenger above all
else and are not deceived by earthly possessions.
‘ O Allaah! Bestow on me Your love and the love of the one whose love will be of
benefit in Your eyes. O Allaah! Make the bounties that You have bestowed upon me and
which I love strength for me to love you and to perform the deeds that You will be
pleased with.
O Allaah! Make the things which I have asked You for but which You have not given me
a means to turn to You in complete obedience and to occupy my mind with the things
that You love’.(Tirmidhi,Deawat 73/3491).
