Rabee’ul Awwal: Birth Month of the Prophet Mohammed (SAW)
“Verily, in the Messenger of Allah, you have a good example for him who looketh unto Allah and the last day,and remembereth Allah much.” (Al Ahzab 33:21).
A happy and most memorable Rabee”ul Awwal to the Muslim Umma. This is a month of glorious memory, remembrance, and commemoration of significant events in the history of Islam. In it, is Mawlidun Nabiyy (birth month of the seal of the Prophets), Hijra (the migration of the Prophet Mohammed (SAW) from Mecca to Medina), and Wafaatun Nabiyy (when the companions had to face the struggle themselves and uphold Islam without the Holy Prophet Mohammed (SAW) in their midst).
