There was mild drama at the Nnamdi Azikiwe International airport, Abuja when Nigerians based in Turkey that arrived the county in very high spirits last Sunday on board Turkish Airlines to celebrate Christmas with their loved ones find out on landing, that their luggage had not been flown down with them from Istanbul, Turkey.
According to report gathered by InfoTrust, they were told to come for their luggage on Tuesday, and when they got to their office at the appointed day, they were asked to check again on Thursday.
Some of the passengers disclosed that they have been at the airport for five days without any hope of their luggage reacted by blocking one of the plane. They insisted on having their luggage or the plane will not leave the runway.
Venting their anger, the stranded passengers slept beside the tires on the runway.
