In an Instagram post on Saturday, Olamide, the YBNL boss apologised to his fans and admitted that he was wrong to have sworn on live television during an award show.
In his words, “I want to apologise to my fans for my conduct, including swearing on Live TV, at the Headies event some hours ago. I recognise that you all are the most important part of my work and my journey so far, and I would not have come this far without you.
Therefore, you deserve better from me. I promise to conduct myself in a more respectable manner in future”.
Olamide was furious with the organisers of the award after his protégé, Lil Kesh, lost the Next Rated Award to Reekado Banks.
He blasted Don Jazzy in various Twitter posts written in foul language after the producer taunted him on stage to come and collect the car that came with Next Rated Award.
A lot of his fans did not find his bile filled expletives on social media funny and thus the apology.
