Former Super Eagles star, Mutiu Adepoju has advised Nigerians to take Victor Moses’ retirement from the national team in good faith, saying the former Wolves star has served the country well.

He noted that the Chelsea of England player would have made necessary consultations before taking the bold step to quit the national team and concentrate on club football.
Adepoju praised Moses for his commitment while playing for the Super Eagles, saying that his exploits for the team was worthy of emulation by other players.
The former Racing Santander of Spain star called on the Super Eagles coaches to start working hard to groom more quality players that will replace Moses.
“Moses’ retirement from the Super Eagles should not be seen as a reflection that things are not going well in the team.
“If Moses believes that retiring early from the Super Eagles would help him in his career, there is no need to question that decision. A player can take a drastic decision on his career at any point to focus on matters important.
I wish Moses the best in his future endeavours,” he said.
