As the Super Eagles settle down in Russia for the World Cup, activities are in top gear by fans, and sponsors to cheer the squad to victory. Amstel Malta, the official malt drink of the Super Eagles is joining millions of Nigerians to inspire and wish the team well.

“We are proud to announce that Amstel Malta together with over 180 million fans is getting behind our beloved Super Eagles.”Nigerian Breweries PLC signed a partnership deal with the Nigerian Football Federation (NFF), in February 2018 conferring the right of “Official Malt Drink of all the Nigerian National Football Teams on Amstel Malta.

The Super Eagles through the NFF will enjoy marketing and promotional support courtesy of Amstel Malta.The Portfolio Manager, Non-Alcoholic Brands – Ngozi Nkwoji said: “Amstel Malta is proud to be associated with the Nigerian Football Federation and by extension the Super Eagles. The brand also promises to provide support to players and create delightful experiences for football fans leveraging the football event.”

She added that Amstel Malta would join fans and consumers to cheer the Super Eagles and the other national football teams before, during and after their international matches.
The brand, which is notable for consistently delivering great quality and inspiring people to be their best, will continue to galvanize support for the Super Eagles through its partnership with NFF, and create exciting football-themed activities across the country with the aim of celebrating the true Nigerian spirit fueled by patriotism, passion and desire for victory.Nigeria is in the Group D, and will face Croatia, Iceland and Argentina.
