APC Accused Of Destroying PDP Campaign Materials In Gombe

Peoples Democratic Party in Gombe State has strongly condemned the destruction of its campaign materials by the APC supporters during the Presidential rally today in the state.

Chairman Media and Publicity Committee of the 2019 PDP Campaign Council in the state, Dahiru Hassan Kera condemned what he called APC’s violence incline politics by the destroying PDP’s campaigns billboards during the President Buhari’s campaign visits to the state earlier today.

‘’Remember we held a successful PDP northeast zonal rally here in Gombe and it went peacefully without violence or any reported destruction but it’s quite condemnable the unwarranted and wanton destruction of our billboards and other campaign materials in the state by the APC supporters conspicuously to falsify and hoodwink their guests that they’ve supporters.’’

‘’Let APC know that, elections is not war and free, fair, and credible polls is what we in the PDP are calling for and violence, intolerance, would not in any way change the minds and determination of the voters to vote for only credible candidates best on their track records and pedigree. Gov. Dankwambo has fulfilled his promises to the people of Gombe State and even going beyond promises to executes other laudable projects.’’ Kera has said.

Further lamenting, Kera said in 2019 history will repeat itself as PDP is determine to win the elections at all levels. Let them expect most humiliating and imminent defeat as we are ready to replicate the 2015 gesture.
